I live with 7 other parrots, a finch, a canary & a pigeon. I love eating apples & almonds, pooping on things and being mischievous. Rescued birds rock!

I caught this today, Bambam (30s) and Nova (5). Nova had be sneaking her way next to him for days, it seems her gentle persistence is paying off! They have only been together a week.

I put Bambam and Nova together! Bambam is unsure of his new cage mate but I know Nova is super gentle and is a good fit for Bambam and his advanced age.

The whole flock from me to the budgies, finch, canary, and even old man BamBam got our messy beaks o and dove into our veggie medley tonight!

We made the journey home safely and I'd say he doesn't look too bad for apparently being in his 30's and moulting to boot. His name is Bambam and I hope I can give him an amazing hospice home. 🧡

@buckeyecub Not that I can see. He had been sitting on the bottom of his cage and was barely eating. We'll have to see if more bird company will perk him up. He is showing his age but seems ok so far.

As some may know my hooman lost her 2yr old most precious favourite birb Kai a while ago & even though she will ever be replaced my special hooman has agreed to take in a 35yr old cockatiel. Pics will be shared when he is settled.

My person went put to get some pizza tonight and spotted this rare little beauty just hanging in the carport away from the cold, snowy, windy outside. Gorgeous!
