@musicwithmike@CraigBaird When asked if the interest rates may drop in June he chuckled .There are a lot of people who are hurting from high cost on everything primarily because of high interest rates Nothing to chuckle about!!!
Now to get fisheries Open the Cod fishery has been closed on the West Coast for the past two years for no reason other than lack of management on the part of the Federal Government.Maybe it’s time for us to manage our own fishery instead of a 14 week program.

Things haven’t changed after all been the only province in Canada where free Enterprise is outlawed and multi millionaires are flourishing on the backs of a few ….Democracy?
Not the first time a rowdy group of Newfoundlanders descended on the legislature...In 1932 3,500 people smashed every window, looted the building, causing $10,000 in damage, and the Prime Minister had to sneak out the back door
Unfortunately it seems like the Federal Fisheries Minister doesn’t care whether they ever go back into the water.Unfortunately the fish Quotas are so unfairly allocated in favour of anyone else other then those adjacent to the resource Redfish and Halibut being a prime example!
I guess the Federal Fisheries Minister doesn’t know what Inclusion means when it comes to allocating Red Fish Quotas on the West Coast of Newfoundland. Being at the table means more than being there physically you have to take seriously on what’s been discussed and listen too.
Hockey NL will once again allow post-game handshakes.
A letter sent to all Hockey NL members says "Based on the information gathered thus far and conversations with stakeholders and Members, Minor Council will allow the return of post game handshakes."
Agree let the locals hunt as they traditionally did and you would not have an over population makes you wonder who comes up with such ridiculous policies. And stop using helicopters… walk and hunt the traditional way.
The Trudeau government pays foreign marksmen almost $1 million to fly around in helicopters shooting excess deer, while he works to ban hunting rifles of Canadians.
He’s paying almost $10,000 per deer, when our hunters would have done it for the meat.
Asinine.

A National JOKE we are suppose to be the most friendly people in Canada and someone to come up with such a ridiculous decision. A cop out on how to discipline players or trouble makers replace management.
You’ve been told for years about the abundance of Cod but nobody would listen we can have a sustainable fishery without closing it down , that’s not the way to manage a resource .
Looking forward to the REOPENING of the Commercial Cod fishery on the West Coast of Newfoundland this coming 2024 https://t.co/bfYjDysSo1’s been a difficult two years trying to source Cod from other areas with an abundance right on our https://t.co/0ooCnytcJ7’s time for Change!
@JoshTaylorNL@dannydumaresque Congratulations to Danny and his team. This is a prime example to seafood producers in the Province. We have to many processors that will not distribute its product within the province to local Restaurants. When contacted they say only Export their product outside the province.
