Think about that. This is the most powerful country in the world, refusing to evacuate its citizens from the soil of a strong ally, and yet there will be no public outrage, no social media theatrics, no performative victimhood.

Now compare that with India. India has no direct stake in the conflict. It repeatedly advised its citizens to leave. Many ignored those warnings. Yet when the situation worsened, and airspace closed, India still scrambled resources, and worked to ensure their safety.

And in return, it will still gets taunts, mockery, and political point-scoring. The same thankless voices who ignore advisories are usually the first to ridicule rescue efforts. This isn’t new, we saw the same during the Ukraine crisis.

What happened in Pahalgam was purely about religion. Yet Rathee made a 20-minute video trying to propagate that it wasn’t. A strange and revealing mindset.

A major part of his video focuses on intel failure and accountability, subtly implying inside job. Yes, it was an intel failure, and accountability must be sought. But if you avoid addressing the nature of the crime itself and only highlight lapses in intel, you are effectively shifting the blame away from the criminals.

It is unrealistic to expect any country to have zero intel failures. Intel work always involves uncertainty, incomplete information, human error, misjudgments, deception by adversaries, changing ground realities, or sheer bad luck. Even top agencies like the CIA, Mossad, RAW, MI6, and FSB have faced serious failures. Imagine, the mighty CIA couldn’t predict 9/11, and Mossad was caught off-guard during the 1973 Yom Kippur War when Egypt and Syria launched a surprise attack.

Intelligence minimizes risk, it can never eliminate it fully. Yes, questions must be asked, but only after acknowledging the crime, understanding the motives, the history, and the root cause. If I forget to latch my house and someone robs it, the fault lies with the thief, not me. You cannot hold me responsible and absolve the criminal.

Marrying a Pakistani citizen should automatically trigger the revocation of Indian citizenship.

Yet, in reality, I couldn't find any clear rule, regulation, or even an SOP requiring individuals to notify authorities when they marry a Pakistani citizen. Is there even one? Do we keep a dossier of Indian citizens married to Pakistanis? I doubt.

Many women marry Pakistani nationals but deliberately retain their Indian citizenship, allowing them to move freely, enjoy social benefits, and maintain dual advantages. Are such individuals placed under surveillance? What if some are in contact with Pakistani intelligence?

The recent VISA revocation drive revealed that hundreds are living in India under such loopholes. And these are just the ones we found.
How many more could be Indian citizens quietly living in Pakistan right now on VISA.
