"Jingle Bells", written by James Lord Pierpont in 1850, was originally published as "The One Horse Open Sleigh" in 1857. It was claimed to be originally written for a Sunday school choir for Thanksgiving! It also was the 1st song to be broadcast from space in 1965. #ppmfunfacts
