Every year for the past 11 years my students have enjoyed this innovative website giving virtual visitors a real life feeling of actually being there standing on the front lawn. #CET720#kevinsmithsd#innovation#virtual

This cheeseburger was printed on our 3D printer. This idea came from some of my 5th graders wanted one. They told me the size of a dime, as you can see this is a cheeseburger, with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, pickles, a burger, buns, and cheese. #proudarrows#5thgradestopmotion
Every child is an engineer!! Engineering in elementary schools promotes critical thinking, problem solving, and tenacity. From an early age it’s important to foster stem skills and motivate children to enter the engineering work force. #firstday ##1stgrade#kinder#proudarrows
Fifth grade celebrated National Science and Engineering week with this random engineering challenge. By the end of each level kids very much understood the importance of a strong foundation and working smarter not harder. #proudarrows
Just the other day, another 5th grader amazed me. He used the airbrush pen for the first time and made this “Among us” creation. He wanted to make it into a necklace but changed his mind. Look how he made it work. #mindblowing#bestplanever#stem#5thgraderocks💚 #proudarrows
Sometimes learning is messy!! My Jr. Kindergarteners discovered what happens when you mix a dry ingredient with wet ingredients. It is fun to see what happens when the powder shows the creases in their hands. #proudarrows
@chipgaines Thank you for lifting up all of our teachers as their school year about starts. I appreciate the support for my classroom. https://t.co/LB0SJBW5JY
Every idea comes with a plan.. This week I’ll be putting on my construction hat to construct a rolling thingamajig. Tow sides: black pegboard with colorful gold tees, magnetic wall. Storage in 2 spots with a top shelf, all on wheels. Follow to stay posted on what worked well.
June's and July's Summer STEM camps are filling up fast! Here are the details. Paper flyers will come home Wednesday or Thursday with students in grades K-5. All area students including home schools students and teachers are welcome even if you don't attend or teach at PAS.
Our future builders and engineers!! When we first began this lesson, kindergarteners lacked confidence. At the end, they didn’t want to stop and were very successful. #icantestmyprotytpe#innovative#stem#planb
Fourth graders are making progress in making their paper tubed recorders function. I’m glad I stopped trying to create a template for them. Their ideas are better than mine. #ourfuture#proudarrows#excitement#innovative designer
