Things in Harry Potter that will never make sense:
Wizarding children needed written parental permission to visit Hogsmeade, a perfectly harmless village full of shops and candy stores, but apparently no parental consent was required to participate in the Triwizard Tournament, where contestants could literally DIE.
Hogwarts’ safety regulations have always been questionable. 😭
Voldemort left a piece of himself inside Harry, but the emotional scars Harry carried were entirely his own.
Let’s look at both sides.
1. The piece of Voldemort inside Harry
When Voldemort tried to kill Harry as a baby, the killing curse rebounded, and an unintended fragment of Voldemort’s soul attached itself to Harry.
This created a connection between them:
Harry could feel Voldemort’s emotions.
He experienced visions through Voldemort’s eyes.
He sometimes felt Voldemort’s anger and hatred.
He could speak Parseltongue.
His scar hurt whenever Voldemort was experiencing particularly intense emotions.
However, when Voldemort’s soul fragment was destroyed in the Forbidden Forest, that particular connection was severed.
2. The pain of everyone Harry lost
This is where things become much deeper.
Harry lost his parents before he could even know them. Then he lost:
Cedric Diggory, whose death Harry witnessed.
Sirius Black, the closest thing he had to a father.
Albus Dumbledore, his mentor and protector.
Hedwig, his loyal companion.
Dobby, who died saving him.
Fred Weasley, who died fighting alongside him.
These losses left emotional wounds that destroying Voldemort’s Horcrux inside him couldn’t magically erase.
3. Was Harry ever truly free?
This is perhaps the saddest part of Harry’s story.
Voldemort’s soul fragment was gone, but Harry still had memories, grief, trauma and the responsibility of surviving a war that took so many people he loved.
My interpretation is that Voldemort caused Harry’s scar, but the people Harry lost left wounds much deeper than any curse could inflict.
And perhaps that’s what makes Harry’s story so heartbreaking: he defeated the darkest wizard of his generation, but he couldn’t bring back the people who helped him survive.
I’m on my balcony right now, and some boys in my area are having a football argument. One of them said, “Which trophy you dey find? Come Stamford Bridge, you go see am.”
Walahi, na why dem no like Chelsea fans be this 😂😂😂
Did Avada Kedavra actually kill Dumbledore, or was it the fall from the Astronomy Tower that ultimately killed him?
As we know, the spell comes out green, not blue
