SENIOR BREAKFAST TRADITION CONTINUES AT PAHS
Yesterday morning, the Class of 2026 was treated to breakfast prepared by some of our PAHS Teachers, Staff, and Administrators.
The last day of school in the Punxsutawney Area School District for the 2025-26 School Year is on Friday, June 5. There will be an early student dismissal that day--High School student dismissal will be at 11:40; Elementary student dismissal at 12:40. HAVE A GREAT SUMMER!
The PAHS Yoga Club would like to thank Adrienne of Breathe Peace Wellness for generously donating her time and expertise to provide a FREE wellness field trip to members of the club! Thank you for your commitment to supporting student wellness! PUNXSY PROUD!
On 6/2, 5th grade students participated in the annual Colonial Day by making butter, playing colonial games, & constructing colonial-themed crafts. Some dressed up in colonial style attire. They ended the day with a fictional movie set during the Revolutionary War.
Before they cross the stage to get their diplomas this evening, the Class of 2026 took one last walk through the halls of PAHS and paid a final visit to PAES during the annual Senior Walk tradition. Congratulations and best wishes to the Class of 2026!

Congrats to the Chucks Softball Team on becoming the District 5/9 class AAAA regional champions after defeating Somerset 9-1! They move on to the state playoffs which start Monday! ROLL CHUCKS! PUNXSY PROUD!
FIRST GRADE LEADERSHIP PROJECT
For their PAES Leadership Day, 1st Grade decorated planters and potted flowers. The flowers were donated to Haverilla's Personal Care Home and Mulberry Square. PUNXSY PROUD!
As they count down the days to commencement, the Class of 2026 enjoyed one of our oldest PAHS traditions today--the annual Cooks Forest trip and class picnic!
