KDC Supporting the Digital and Creative Economy!

Kenya Development Corporation participated at the launch of “Nova Garage”, an initiative of the Africa Forward Summit to be hosted in Nairobi.

Nova Garage is the flagship innovation platform of the Africa–France Summit “Africa Forward,” to be staged on the afternoon of 11th May 2026 at the Kenya Cultural Centre (Norfolk), under the High Patronage of H.E. Dr. William Ruto. It is co-convened by the French-African Foundation and the State Department for Foreign Affairs (@SingoeiAKorir), and organised through the Autonomous Advancement Initiative, the State Department’s youth cooperation framework on technology.

KDC had the opportunity to highlight its catalytic mandate as a Development Finance Institution in supporting innovation by anchoring the Digital and Creative Economy as a strategic sector of focus for the Corporation. The summit will convene like-minded partners for KDC to explore and align collaboration with African financial institutions for coordinated pipeline curation, co-investment opportunities and structured conversations, designed to translate sustainable capital flows into Kenyan enterprise in the innovation space.
