Pasqal has signed a research collaboration agreement with King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (@KACST), represented by its National Center for Quantum Technologies (NCQT), to advance quantum-safe cryptography in Saudi Arabia.
Announced in Riyadh during World Quantum Day, the agreement pairs Pasqal's neutral-atom quantum systems and cloud services with KACST's national research infrastructure. Quantum cryptography is the first focus area of a broader multi-year program.
"This agreement reflects KACST's commitment to building strategic research partnerships with global technology leaders, supporting the development of national capabilities, and translating scientific research in quantum technologies into impactful future applications," said Dr. Talal Alsedairy, Senior Vice President for R&D at KACST.
The agreement adds to a year of momentum for Pasqal in the Kingdom, following the inauguration of Saudi Arabia's first quantum computer with Aramco in May and announced plans for a joint venture with Eleven Ventures across the MENA region.
Dr. Wasiq Bokhari, CEO of Pasqal, delivers a keynote today at @LEAPandInnovate 2026 in Riyadh on the shift of quantum computing from research toward industrial-scale applications.

We’re proud to see our portfolio company @PasqalQuantum successfully list on Nasdaq under the ticker PSQL, marking a significant milestone and a new chapter in the company’s growth and commercialization of neutral-atom quantum computing.
Since our initial investment in 2023, Pasqal has continued to translate Nobel Prize-winning research into practical quantum computing solutions while expanding its global footprint.
Saudi Arabia has become a central part of that journey. Pasqal has established its regional headquarters in the Kingdom, continues to grow its local team, and has worked with Aramco to deploy Middle East’s first commercial quantum computer providing quantum computing as a service platform, demonstrating its long term commitment to building local capabilities and advancing the Kingdom’s quantum computing ecosystem.
Pasqal’s journey reflects what we look for in deep technology: breakthrough innovation with a clear path to commercialization, localization, and real-world impact.
Congratulations to Wasiq Bokhari, Pasqal’s founders and leadership, and the entire team on this landmark achievement. We look forward to what’s next for them.
Today, Pasqal begins trading on Nasdaq under the ticker "PSQL”.
This day is the work of many: the scientists who pioneered neutral-atom quantum computing. Our team, who engineer production-grade systems rather than lab demonstrations. Our customers and partners, who put quantum computing to work on real problems today. And our investors, who backed a long-term vision from the very start. Thank you.
Going public gives us the platform and capital to accelerate our vision: a world where the limits of computation no longer limit human progress.
The next era of computing is being built now, and we intend to keep building it. Stay tuned!

Pasqal has closed its business combination with Bleichroeder Acquisition Corp. II.
Tomorrow, we expect to become a Nasdaq-listed company, trading under the ticker “PSQL”.
Since 2019, Pasqal has had a clear mission: to deliver practical quantum computation that aims to solve our customers' most complex problems with high-value solutions, on a single platform.
The same principle that has guided us from day one carries into this next chapter: when we make a commitment, we work to deliver on it.

On Monday, we had the honor of welcoming a delegation of senior leaders from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to our French headquarters and quantum computer production site.
Led by His Excellency Engineer Abdullah Alswaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, the delegation observed a quantum processing unit and a live demonstration of atom-by-atom rearrangement, and toured the line where we assemble, calibrate and test the systems we ship to customers.
The delegation included His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki Bin Talal; His Excellency Engineer Haytham AlOhali, Governor of the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST); and Saeed AlDobas, Executive Vice President of AI Infrastructure and Cloud at @HUMAIN.
The visit reflects the deepening cooperation between France and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in advanced technologies, following the deployment of Saudi Arabia's first quantum computer earlier this year. Quantum computing sits within the Kingdom's Vision 2030 agenda, which places advanced computing among its national technology priorities.
Our sincere thanks to the Saudi delegation for the honor of their visit.

Today we announced a commercial joint venture with Eleven Ventures to deploy, commercialize and scale Pasqal's neutral-atom quantum computing systems across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the wider MENA region.
The venture intends to bring Pasqal's systems to market for regional customers and build local quantum talent, so that capability is developed within the Kingdom rather than accessed from abroad. HRH Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki Bin Talal will serve as Chairman of the Board of Pasqal Arabia.
"We believe that quantum today is where AI stood a few years ago, on the edge of changing everything. The difference is that this time, the Kingdom and the region are not watching from a distance, we are moving first, and in Pasqal we found a partner that will not wait either. Together we plan to deploy real systems, raise a generation of quantum talent, and make the Kingdom the home of this technology for the entire region." said HRH Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki Bin Talal.

Our work on agentic workflows for quantum computing just got picked up by one of science's most-read journals, @Nature, under the headline: "AI tool lets researchers 'vibe code' in the quantum realm."
The idea: turn a plain-English description of a quantum simulation into a running result. The agent reasons about hardware constraints, encodes the problem into the geometry of atoms trapped by laser light, validates the code on a classical emulator, then runs it on a live neutral-atom QPU, with the researcher staying in charge of every scientific decision along the way.
As our CTO Loïc Henriet explains in the news article, this translation from a physics concept to running quantum hardware has traditionally required expertise in both the physics being simulated and quantum computing. This is exactly what our agentic workflows are starting to change: making quantum computing more accessible without taking the scientist out of the loop.

Pasqal and Aeponyx trap individual atoms using optical tweezers delivered through a photonic chip, a step on the path to fault-tolerant quantum computing at scale.
We've moved critical optical functions off the free-space optical bench and onto a photonic chip, bringing us closer to compact and manufacturable quantum processors.
The tangible results:
👉4 rubidium atoms trapped using tweezers generated on a single photonic chip, which we believe is a first for a neutral-atom quantum computer
👉Atom lifetimes of ~27.5 seconds, matching our existing bulk-optics systems with no loss in qubit control quality
👉A roadmap to reduce the optical footprint of future processors by up to 50x
