@KrisPatel99@AlThingsF1nanc3 How exactly is Disney pulling advertising from X restricting free speech?
I don't understand the correlation. Don't Disney have the right to withdraw their advertising dollars from a platform that they deem is promoting content that doesn't align with their world view?
@Iam_Right11@Micro2Macr0 The main capital investment comes from the initial build. You're looking at the tower itself as well as all the peripherals and the OS.
Once that is done, however, every few years you upgrade components depending on what you use it for and where you find a bottleneck.
@Micro2Macr0 @LASilerRTR @elonmusk@X Nobody is curtailing Elon's legal free speech, advertisers are exercising their right to free speech by pulling from a platform that doesn't align what they believe in.
Nobody is stopping him from saying what he wants, but these advertisers clearly don't want to listen to him.
@KrisPatel99@eco_techinvest And to a massive segment of the population who live with the direct economic and social impact of that issue of slavery to this very day.
@KrisPatel99@eco_techinvest Well, free speech doesn't protect you from people thinking your opinion is stupid, does it?
I also think it's pretty disingenuous of Musk to compare slavery over the course of millenia to people who are alive today whose grandparents and maybe even parents may have been slaves.
@amitisinvesting Struggling with a post about personal responsability and individual accountability regarding a company who tossed both out the window the moment they got shafted on a big trade gone bad lmao
@Micro2Macr0 What would that be? The legal strategies for Israeli settlement?
You could easily say the same thing about both sides in this conflict starting all of the way back with the Balfour Declaration.
