Clergy friends, as you prepare for Holy Week and Easter. Just be you. Be authentic. You know your congregation and their needs. What you are about do is exactly what is needed in your setting.

@preachercox In addition...one must be symptom free for two days and (in some areas) two negative tests to verify. With lag in test results, illness time, etc...it will take more than a week to have confirmation of those

Articles, posts, and tweets claiming “majority” by Traditionalists, negates the ability for any delegate to be led by the Holy Spirit or think independently & instead insists on a specific adherence. Any conjecture of GC20 is premature and insulting to all delegates.

@ava Hoping to be able to use this as a series of conversations at my church. Thank you for making such profound, bold, and necessary works. You are blessed and a blessing

Seeing my daughters prepare for AC...as they have done for years. I am reminded that our youth are watching & learning. Let us Do No Harm and have the Spirit of Love, even when we passionately disagree. I believe we can stand on our beliefs w/o stomping on each other.

@KeithMcilwain @wpaumc @revbt It wasn’t until the invitation came that I realized the conflict. After prayer, discernment, and honest input from colleagues; I realized the process with the UMC will be a journey. The local immediate work for the kids is necessary now.

@KeithMcilwain @wpaumc @revbt Thank you. I was not able to go, I am running for School Board and the election is tomorrow. Had to make the decision.

Lent 19: Reading Scripture only to confirm an ideology over and over is like pulling up to a stop sign and putting the car in park.

[Scott Gallagher @PastorGallagher]

Lent 18: Jesus took time away to be alone with God. When there much to do & so little time, the first sacrifice we make is time away with God”. When in reality we need to increase that time with God, so that we are prepared, guided, and equipped to do all we are called.

Lent 16 (early): I fear the Church, as Body of Christ, the foot is no longer saying, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body”. Instead the hand is telling the foot it must become and hand to be part of the body. This is wrong all are necessary to truly Be.

Lent 15: “Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,
for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go,
for to you I entrust my life.” Ps 143:8. May we bring to the world God’s unfailing love, in all ways, by all means, and at all times that we can
