@JhanHky I know he had a short time to get off the bench and recognize where the danger was but I can’t believe he got caught puck watching a guy 90 feet away from him rather than shadow the 60 goal scorer within arm’s reach of him
@CreaseGiants Literally been yelling at my tv about that since the PP started. And right now where Primerano was all alone on the right point but they decided to try to force a drag wrister with like 4 people in front of them leading to an empty net. Use your best player! She’s right there!
@JaysFan81127 @jeff_goldenberg @Baseball_Jenn Given last night, there’s less reason to do it. I get it in certain situations but I see no reason to do that with your best hitter at bat and two guys with speed in scoring position - no need to force runs. Sometimes you should just let the game happen if you’re in a good spot.
@JaysFan81127 @jeff_goldenberg @Baseball_Jenn Any ball to the outfield scores them regardless of the contact play. If Vlad grounds out or what have you, it’s 1-out with two in scoring position and you have more chances to score them. Unnecessary risk when you’re about to have the middle of the lineup come through with RISP.
@JaysFan81127 @jeff_goldenberg @Baseball_Jenn Don’t get me wrong, once the play is going Semien just needs to keep going and Bo should’ve just went to third to give up Semien. But it makes no sense from a game plan perspective to start runners on contact at that point.
@GeoffVanVeller @frank_seravalli@TSN_Sports@SanJoseSharks They have cap room and aren’t buyers, Toronto needed more salary retained than what’s allowed from one team, so they got involved to help facilitate it and essentially bought a draft pick in the process. If CBJ could’ve retained more than 50% then they wouldn’t be involved.
@sniperscup@drvadgers1980 You don’t agree with Gord’s answer or perceived justification. So, are you cancelling Gord? Or are you just using a word that has a lot of buzz right now? Just because people don’t agree or don’t entertain a platform doesn’t mean anything’s being canceled.
@vanpuss2 @ferricoxide @Lliaelwynn @BadCOVID19Takes @TVietor08 I’m guessing the critical thinking class at the South Harmon Institute of Technology wasn’t particularly enlightening.
@vanpuss2 @ferricoxide @Lliaelwynn @BadCOVID19Takes @TVietor08 We have decades of vehicle safety research to fall back on while we have less than a year of dealing with this virus that is just beginning to have vaccines distributed. For the time being, I’m content to follow the health guidelines if it means fewer people get sick and die.
@vanpuss2 @ferricoxide @Lliaelwynn @BadCOVID19Takes @TVietor08 If you go full herd immunity by letting it run throughout then you’re accepting that you’re just wiping out a decent percentage of the population whereas the proper methods of containment can help mitigate that. Part of the issue is people following this and hurting the public.
@Aurelio04091894 @vanpuss2 @ferricoxide @Lliaelwynn @BadCOVID19Takes @TVietor08 Exactly. There’s still so much we don’t know about the long-term effects and the reports so far haven’t been good, even for those who have been asymptomatic. There’s a larger cost by people be infected with covid vs. the flu in more ways than one.
@vanpuss2 @ferricoxide @Lliaelwynn @BadCOVID19Takes @TVietor08 Where I live is a place that has done really well at containing it, nearly the best in the world. Yet, we had nearly an entire nursing home get wiped out by the disease. I’m not convinced that herd immunity is the way to go unless you just don’t care for those at high risk.
