lan xichen isn't like their dad at all but maybe he'll feel stung. maybe lan wangji will win like usual and lan xichen will stop being mad at him like usual and they can go into town and maybe pick up their lessons and work on their handstands and --

"i don't want to be like them," lan xichen says. he does not sound angry. he does not sound the way he does when lan wangji wins. the way he sounds takes lan wangji back to the very first ghosts he ever encountered. "promise me we won't ever be like them."

chu wanning waking up to mo ran between his legs. mo ran’s like a starved man; he’s eating chu wanning out with vigor while holding his hips down. it’s cruel. cwn can’t rut upwards nor can he run away from the overwhelming sensation. so he has no choice but to lie there and take what mo ran’s giving him. when cwn starts fading back into sleep, mo ran nips at his inner thighs, startling him awake. safe to say mo ran keeps him on the edge and cwn barely gets any sleep that night (he sure screams a lot tho)🥴
