@DiamondHeels I can tell what Wesloski will throw you, fb, cutter, 12/6, and change sometimes. I can tell you he attacks righties away without runners on and more inside with runners on. All that means nothing, just relax and hit the ball! Clear your mind of distractions and put blinders on!

@DiamondHeels Have fun, trust the process, stay calm, make routine plays, just pitch on the bump, default aggressive, see the ball, hit the ball, relax and have fun, and just do what you do!

@DiamondHeels We will see the big lefty Rager first game, I suspect. He moves everything into righties. Our lefties have to see him. He likes to go in on lefties early with a good, but pretty straight fb, then break it off away. He is a good power pitcher, but beatable! Again, focus and play

@DiamondHeels We know Skip Johnson is a great coach and known for his pitching expertise. He saw DeCaro, Lynch, Duff, etc last year, but oh well. I don’t see a hitter on their team with more walks than Ks, so they will be aggressive. We will be prepared and I am confident!

@DiamondHeels The Sooners play good defense, pitch well, and hit well. Our pitchers have to spin the ball, preferably more top spin, stay down, mix and match, and be super unpredictable!

@DiamondHeels We probably see Cole. I mean “see,” as in head down, eyes level, and see it a little deeper in the zone. He has a good sinker, change up with similar movement, and a breaking ball. Nothing you guys don’t already know! Have fun, play hard, and we will be fine!

@DiamondHeels Folger, remember starting the first game your freshman year, reminiscent of Ryan Snare in 1998? I have confidence that tomorrow is your day. You have faced adversity, let it motivate you. Field your position, stay away from middle, middle, spot, pitch off your fastball!

@DiamondHeels Enjoy the couple days off, but use it to get better by studying future opponents. No knowledge is ever wasted. Continue to have fun, make memories, and when you get between those white lines, have fun, be confident because you are prepared, and just play baseball!

@DiamondHeels Ok, gonna face Rabe. He will be in the strike zone. He moves the ball well arm side, but throws the spike curve too and throws down when effective. Just see the ball, hit the ball. Stay focused, head down, eyes level, hit through the ball!
