The doctor pauses and says, “Right. In that case, you need to stop.”

A golfer is lining up a tricky putt on the 7th green when a funeral procession passes along the road beside the course.

He stops, takes off his cap, bows his head, and waits in silence until every car has gone by.

His playing partner says, “That was very respectful of you.”

The golfer says, “Well, it’s the least I could do. We were married for 32 years.”
