I’ve found myself enjoying 8’s ost way more, and find myself enjoying 8 overall in the same light as the older games, which 7 never really accomplished for me.

@nitzukai @Dreamboum I’ve always agreed with that. Aesthetically, it’s a way more complete and cohesive package than 2. I feel like I’m also in the minority that prefers the linear nature of UG1 without the open world. The environments feel more carefully crafted and everything just vibes better.
