Motorists should be advised that Main Street between Green Street and Ward Street will be closed on Monday, June 15, from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for the annual Eucharistic Procession hosted by Cathedral of St. John the Baptist.

In May, Ofc. Dubenezic arrested a suspect wanted in connection with an assault on members of the Paterson Fire Department, as well as a domestic violence incident.
In recognition of his outstanding work, he has been named the PPD��s May 2026 Officer of the Month.

The PPD extends its condolences on the passing of Detective Fritz Magny, who suffered a medical emergency while on duty and passed away on Thursday.

Continuing our Military Appreciation Month series, we recognize Lt. Colondres for his service to our country and the City.
Lt. Colondres served 10 years in the military, including one combat deployment overseas, and retired with the rank of Captain.

Today, we remember Sgt. Enrico “Rick” Venditte, who was killed in the line of duty on this day in 2001.
Twenty-five years later, his courage, dedication, and sacrifice are never forgotten.
