I am not sure how I feel about Ash being "retired" as the main character of the Pokémon anime. The anime really helped mold my love for the franchise. I do hope that Ash makes some kind of cameo in this new series. Ill watch but a part of me thinks it wont be the same without Ash

I really love the stories told here too. Arven's story was a tear jerker that I was not expecting. This story telling is right up their with the best in the series IMO. Black/White and Sun/Moon stories were amazing as well with N and Lillie respectively, but this story hits home.

I think Pokémon Scarlet/Violet may possibly be my favorite in the series. I understand the issues/bugs, but that hasn't hampered my experience. The exploration, the collection, and the discovery in this game is amazing. I can't wait to see what kind of DLC we get.

Their are definitely so hits and misses in terms of new Pokémon designs, but overal I'd say Paldea has some terrific Pokémon.
