We have launched an investigation into the poisoning of a red kite in the Ceiriog Valley. Toxicology tests reveal the bird tested positive for Bendiocarb. We believe the poisoning was potentially deliberate. Anyone with info can contact us on 101, quoting ref 21000458355.

Further to our earlier appeals, wanted man Steven Pinnington, who has links to the Blackpool area, has been arrested in Scotland. Pinnington, 39 was wanted on recall to prison. He is currently in custody. Thanks to everyone who shared our earlier appeals to find him.

The driver of this vehicle stopped in a live lane as he had a flat offside tyre and then attempted to change it, 300 yards from safety. If you get a flat on an all lane running motorway, reduce speed, put hazards on and get to a refuge area! A wheel can be replaced, you can't!!
