Not opening was not an option, the workforce needed to get back earning to pay taxes. Students need to get a proper education in the classroom.

Sadly, I think the DoE were hoping this blows over quickly so they don't have to spend any money on it. Air filters in every room is not cheap but closing schools is not

With no extra funds how can principals and BOM's make any meaningful changes other than open windows and doors.
