I’d say they are chief (blue) and parietal (pink) cells of oxyntic mucosa glands

@drHTBlungpath What do you make of the multiple intracytoplasmic mucin vacuoles? Is that enough to favor a diagnosis of adenocarcinoma?

Intracytoplasmic mucin vacuoles give away this lung tumor. Although this finding is sufficient to justify the diagnosis of adenocarcinoma, confirmatory TTF-1 immunostain was positive.

☑️ Metachromatic fibrillar stroma w bland spindle cells
☑️ Scattered bland type 2 pneumocytes
☑️ Mature mesenchymal elements (cartilage seen here)
🧬 Called “hamartoma” but most actually harbor t(3;12) HMGA2::LPP fusions

@MdTushir Ferruginous & asbestos bodies are not interchangeable. Ferruginous body is any fiber that gets iron deposits around, one can only call it asbestos body if the core is clear. So while an asbestos body is a ferruginous body, not all ferruginous bodies are asbestos bodies 🤓
