@CHED880@cspotweet@KathleenGanley UCP gerrymandering to try staying in power .
NO ethics commissioner for good reasons.
Corruption, gerrymandering, destroying healthcare & education, obviously even rural Alberta won’t support UCP.
It’s obvious why ethics, morals, integrity & honesty not required in UCP !

Good job, Corb! (And all the volunteers out gathering signatures!)
What's even more impressive is that you accomplished this without doxxing 3 million Albertans!

I’ve been thinking a lot about the extraordinary outbursts of the President of the United States against female journalists... well, actually against journalists in general and journalism. But it feels like he saves his most childlike behavior and irrational language for female reporters, calling them all kinds of names that kids in kindergarten are given times out for. It’s stunning to me to witness such behavior from any leader, any CEO, any person of influence or importance. I’ve never witnessed someone like this raging, this weekend with @meetthepress host @kwelkernbc, just last week in the Oval Office with @cnn’s @kaitlancollins, calling women stupid or piggy, telling them to “smile”, calling them darling, demeaning their credibility. Every good man should denounce this behavior. Every person should be able to stand up for their colleagues and say “No more.”
Imagine this man screaming like this at your daughter, your wife, your sister, your mother... would you stand for it? No, you wouldn’t! And neither should any of us. It’s unacceptable and undignified. Period. End of story.
A MESSAGE TO ALL SANE REPUBLICANS:
He pardoned 1,600 violent criminals.
You said nothing.
He bulldozed the East Wing.
You said nothing.
He interfered with the release of the Epstein files. You said nothing.
He took over the Kennedy Center and renamed it after himself. You said nothing.
He accepted a $400 million airplane as a personal gift. You said nothing.
He threatened Canada, Cuba, Denmark, Greenland, Venezuela, Colombia, and Brazil. You said nothing.
He tariffed just about everyone but Russia, causing inflation and instability worldwide. You said nothing.
He attacked a nation during mediated negotiations. You said nothing.
His ill-conceived war killed 175 children on day one. You said nothing.
He alienated and insulted our allies. You said nothing.
His ICE Army terrorized and murdered U.S. citizens. You said nothing.
He committed murder on the high seas. You said nothing.
He co-opted the Justice Department and directed it to prosecute his political enemies. You said nothing.
It’s time to start talking.

The Myth: “The female judge literally said Carter Hart did nothing wrong.”
The Reality: Justice Carroccia never said anything close to that. In fact, she made it clear she was only ruling on the legality of the men, not the morality:
“It is not the function of this court to make determinations about the morality or propriety of the conduct... sole function of this court is to determine whether the Crown has proven each of the charges... beyond a reasonable doubt” (section E.479).
This statement is two fold: it implies that the conduct could be morally reprehensible despite the legal outcome, and it is a reminder that the burden of proof is high. If the “judge literally said they did nothing wrong”, she would not have had to make that clarification.
Hart’s supporters love to point to the LEGAL results as their main argument. But when you look at the results outside the courtroom, it is crystal clear that Hart and his teammates did something unequivocally wrong.
Following the accused’s acquittal, the league did not immediately reinstate the players. If they had truly done no wrong, you would think that their lengthy absence from the game would pressure the league to reinstate them ASAP. Instead the league had this to say:
“The events that transpired after the 2018 Hockey Canada Foundation Gala in London, Ontario, prior to these players’ arrival in the NHL, were DEEPLY TROUBLING AND UNACCEPTABLE...
In relying on both our OWN INVESTIGATION, and the conclusions reached by Justice Carroccia in her OPINION, and the players’ acquittal, the League has determined that the conduct at issue falls woefully short of the standards and values that the League and its Member Clubs expect and demand...
Given their conduct, we carefully evaluated the players’ acquittal in court and the time spent away from the game. Taking into account that the players have been away from the game for 20 months... we have determined that the players will be eligible... to play in NHL games no sooner than December 1, 2025, bringing their total time out of the League to nearly two years.”
Some context for the severity of the suspensions:
Todd Bertuzzi was suspended 33 games for literally crippling Steve Moore with a dirty hit.
Chris Simon was suspended for 30 games for stomping on the leg of Jarkko Ruutu.
In comparison the Hockey Canada 5 were forced to miss over 22 months, or the equivalent of 140 or so games.
So the league, with the benefit of a private investigation and free of the legal loopholes that compromised the evidence allowed in trial, ruled that the players conduct warranted a suspension 4x the length of Bertuzzi breaking someone’s neck.
The NHL made it clear: what the players did was wrong. The player’s association did not fight the league’s unprecedented punishment.
For everyone that defaults to the now infamous “tHe FeMaLe JuDgE sAiD...” nonsense, our response should be simple: “the male commissioner said...”
For everyone that points to a lack of appeal as proof the players did nothing wrong, our response should be simple: “Why did the NHLPA not appeal the league’s ruling?”
And that is just the NHL’s stance. Hockey Canada agreed what the players did was wrong. In 2022, after reaching a 7-figure settlement with EM, the organization stood in the House of Commons, and based on their own findings (including critical testimony not heard in trial) determined “harm was caused” to EM.
When both the league and Hockey Canada, the de facto employers of the accused, are making it clear there was wrongdoing, illegal or not, we should take note.
Gianni Infantino Must Resign!
Football belongs to the people. It does not belong to politicians. It does not belong to dictators.
Football is supposed to stand for fair play, equality, courage, humanity, and respect. Under his leadership, FIFA has moved further and further away from those values.
When FIFA creates political theatre instead of protecting the soul of the game, football loses.
When FIFA presents a made-up “peace” award to Donald Trump, one of the most divisive political figures in the world, football loses.
When FIFA stays silent or passive about Israel and their participation in FIFA competitions, while innocent civilians suffer, football loses. When federations are treated with double standards, while Muslim nations like Iran or Iraq, African nations, Middle Eastern nations, and smaller football nations are treated as second class members of the global game, football loses.
When FIFA speaks loudly about racism and equality but acts selectively & differently, when power and money are involved, football loses.
The World Cup is one of the most beautiful, historic, and unifying events on earth. It should never be used as a political stage. It should never be turned into a private ceremony for powerful men. It should never be controlled by fear, hypocrisy, or backroom interests.
FIFA’s job is not to serve Donald Trump or USA. FIFA’s job is not to protect governments. FIFA’s job is not to reward power. FIFA’s job is to protect football.
And today, under Gianni Infantino, FIFA is failing that duty. As the President and Owner of Pogoń Szczecin, a club competing proudly within the UEFA and FIFA football family, I believe it is time for FIFA President Gianni Infantino to resign or be removed.
The refusal to apply standards equally, the failure to act with courage, the political posturing, and the selective morality have created a black eye for world football.
Football needs leaders with backbone. Leaders who are not afraid of presidents, governments, sponsors, or political pressure. Leaders who understand that the badge, the flag, the supporters, the players, and the integrity of the game are bigger than any one man.
Gianni Infantino has lost the moral authority to lead world football. For the good of the game, for the credibility of FIFA, and for the millions of people around the world who still believe football can unite humanity, he should resign.
If he will not resign, FIFA’s member associations should find the courage to remove him.
Football and its fans deserve better. The world deserves better. And the game we all love must never be sold, silenced, or humiliated by weak leadership.

The Politics of Self-Preservation
People keep asking me:
"Why aren't more UCP MLAs speaking up?"
Having sat in that caucus and around the cabinet table, I think I know the answer.
Self-preservation.
When speaking up carries political risk, too many choose silence.
In a healthy system, your first responsibility is supposed to be your constituents and the public interest - then your party - and lastly, the leader.
But when that order gets flipped, political survival starts to outweigh doing the right thing.
That's why you're seeing so many MLAs suddenly trying to change the narrative around separation and extremism.
The politics shifted.
Albertans started paying attention and suddenly some MLA’s found their voice.
But leadership isn't changing your message when the polls change.
Leadership is standing up when the chips are down.

Biletlerini alan otellerde yerini ayırtan ABD vizeleri reddedildi. Paraları da yandı.
Dört yılda bir yapılan bir turnuvanın başlamadan içine ettiniz beyler! @FIFAWorldCup@FIFAcom
Totally shameful USA!! I guess you haven’t hit bottom yet. It seems you are now the world’s biggest embarrassment and becoming isolated from any positive humanity. 😢😞
🇸🇴🚨 BREAKING: FIFA’s big promises just collapsed for Africa again.
Somali referee Omar Abdulkadir Artan — CAF Men’s Referee of the Year 2025, selected as one of 52 officials for the 2026 World Cup, set to be the first Somali ever at the tournament — was denied entry into the United States at Miami Airport on June 6.
Despite holding a valid visa and diplomatic passport. Turned away over vague “vetting concerns.” FIFA confirmed he’s out. No training. No matches.
Back in 2025, Gianni Infantino stood in Nairobi and declared: “Everyone will be welcome in Canada, Mexico and the United States for the FIFA World Cup.”
Empty words.
This isn’t an isolated mistake. It’s the pattern: Western hosts preach “global football” while enforcing selective borders that hit the Global South hardest. African officials, journalists, and fans face extra hurdles. Meanwhile, the same system rolls out the red carpet for others.
Somalia remains on the US travel restriction list — security pretexts that conveniently block talent from certain nations. FIFA knew the risks but sold the dream anyway. Now they shrug: “Not our problem.”
Same organization that lectures everyone on inclusion and human rights.
Africa produces world-class referees like Artan, yet gets blocked at the gate while the tournament profits off African talent and passion.
This is modern imperialism dressed as sports governance.
Stand with Omar Artan and every African professional denied fair access.
The Global South is watching. The hypocrisy is glaring.

The referee appointed to @FIFAWorldCup by FIFA referees committee was unable to enter the US due to visa issues.
@FIFAcom failed miserably in this regard.
The slogan ‘Football unites’ rang hollow.

🚨 HUMILIATION AT THE WORLD CUP: SENEGAL STARS TREATED LIKE CRIMINALS BY US BORDER THUGS
Senegal 🇸🇳 national team arrives in the US for #WorldCup2026 — and what do they get?
US authorities pulling them off the plane for aggressive bag searches, invasive checks, and public degradation right on the tarmac. Top African football giants disrespected like suspects.
This is not "security." This is racist arrogance from the host nation that lectures the world on fairness while treating African players like second-class humans.
Same America blocking referees, humiliating teams, and showing its true face to the Global South.
Senegal, Africa is with you. CAF and FIFA — speak up or remain useless puppets.
The World Cup belongs to the world, not to US ego and discrimination.
Expose this disgrace. Share widely.
Iraqi footballer Aymen Hussein issued a statement after being detained and questioned for seven hours upon entering the United States:
“If America is so hostile towards foreign nationals, why is it hosting the #2026WorldCup?”
