The Pathway to Excellence team would like to thank all staff across SFH for their engagement with the Pathway to Excellence accreditation application, and to nursing and midwifery staff for their completion of the Pathway survey.

This will take between 6-8 weeks from survey completion (28th September) so we are hoping to inform staff of the final result in November.
We encourage staff to continue the amazing work they do in respect of the six Pathway to Excellence standards.

We now await a decision from the ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Centre) to see if we have been successful in achieving accreditation. This is dependent on the percentages of positive responses given to the survey questions.

Over 30 ward, department and teams had 100% staff completion of the Pathway survey and were entered into a prize draw. Our winners were ACCU, Ward 51, the Research Team and the Gastro nurse specialist team. Well Done! @PhilBoltonRN @millca21 @trevorhammond10 @JackieS49409832
