Saturday, February 11 (2/11) is National 211 Awareness Day!!
The 211/Crisis Hotline of Pathways of Central Ohio would like to say thank you for joining our 211 network to help support many individuals, families, and communities.
During the pandemic, 211 fielded over 41M requests and connected 11M people to COVID resources. Many states launched hotlines, relying on 211 to provide real-time pandemic information, resources, and referrals. 30+ U.S. governors pointed to 211 for reliable, factual information.
The 211 network responds to an average of 21M calls, texts, chats and emails every year. Some are crises, but many are people in search of basic needs.
In 2000, the @FCC designated 211 as the three-digit number to reach information and referral services for health, human, and social service organizations.
Today, 211 serves as a powerful resource for help and hope in communities across the country.
