Continuing its sustained crackdown on drug networks, Punjab Police arrested 87 drug smugglers and recovered 673 grams of heroin, 1,200 intoxicant pills and ₹9,170 in drug money from their possession.

Additionally, 18 individuals were counselled and persuaded to undergo de-addiction and rehabilitation treatment.

An ambulance was promptly called, and a police team was dispatched to the spot. The police team quickly reached the scene, admitted the injured persons to the hospital via ambulance, and informed their families. Patiala Police (PS Patran) arrested 6 drug smugglers in 3 separate NDPS cases and recovered 178 grams of heroin and 110 kg of poppy husk.

In a major breakthrough, @MogaPolice busts a terror conspiracy, apprehends 17 accused, and recovers an Improvised Explosive Device (IED), explosive material, an electronic detonator, and a 9mm Glock pistol with a magazine.

Preliminary investigation reveals that Iqbal Singh @ Ravi Dhaliwal, currently based in #UK and allegedly involved in criminal activities, was the mastermind behind the conspiracy. On his directions, the accused carried out a grenade attack at Police Station Sadar, Moga, and planned to plant an IED in a Train from Ferozepur to Jammu.

An FIR has been registered at PS Sadar Moga under relevant sections of the BNS, Explosive Substances Act, UAPA, Explosive Act, and Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act. Further investigation is underway to uncover the entire network and identify all associates involved.

A cash reward of up to ₹10 lakh will be given for information leading to the arrest of gangsters.
