@Moto_Support Last Lenovo purchase I'll ever make. Less than 1 year since I ordered the phone and I now need a new one. Any consumer should have 2 years of updates with any manufacturer. Samsung and Google are the only Android options that stand behind their products with consistent updates.

@Moto_Support I purchased a Z3 Play directly from Motorola which is still under warranty. I have learned that there will not only be an Android 10 update, but no security updates either. I won't be compliant to corporate BYOD policies. Please reconsider support for recent buys!

@Moto_Support I'm afraid you don't get the entire point. In a BYOD world current and regular updates are required for device compliance and connectivity. My less than 1 year old purchase direct from Motorola will have to be replaced. Moto site indicates security updates will not be available.

@Moto_Support Per the upgrade page the devices will no longer receive security updates either.
