@jeffries_p63117@LordDr8ke@Cai_ParryJones From just a 2 minute scan of the manifesto, Reform want to "Raise the higher-rate income tax threshold from £50,000 to £70,000" & "Raise the inheritance tax threshold to £2 million". Neither of these are going to benefit me. So what will Farage do that will make my life better?
@jeffries_p63117@LordDr8ke@Cai_ParryJones The highest tax burden in the 21st century for someone at my pay grade came from George Osborne. So for someone in my pay grade I am not paying highest tax rates ever.
@jeffries_p63117@LordDr8ke@Cai_ParryJones The whole manifesto says they are going to cut tax for the wealthy. Like Liz Truss. All Governments say they'll cut Basic Tax. I am ok with the amount of tax I pay. It pays for nurses and operations. I'll be worse off if they cut tax & I have to take out health insurance.
@jeffries_p63117@LordDr8ke@Cai_ParryJones I have looked at the Reform manifesto & I am sorry I can't see how I will benefit. They only talk about cutting tax for the wealthy. Could you point to where they commit to cut tax for someone like me.
@LordDr8ke@jeffries_p63117@Cai_ParryJones I'm sorry, I don't understand this answer as usual. How is that an answer as to how Farage will make things better for me. Why won't Farage supporters ever give me a proper answer?
@Cai_ParryJones Am I the establishment with my 3 bed semi in a nowhere town, that no one cares about? & are the mansion owning, land owning, bank owning, £5million bunging people the one's singing "Anarchy in the UK". I wish I'd known, I'd have given everyone a pay rise.
@Prime_76@Rogowskawero I met quite a few Americans yesterday. I was in Berkshire and they were visiting the Downton Abbey locations. All of them could not compliment Berkshire enough. I am from Berkshire but unfortunately am not living there at present. Anyway they seemed to love it here.
@jeffries_p63117@Cai_ParryJones Hi
@jeffries_p63117
I am genuinely interested to find out, as a not particularly well off person what will Farage actually do that will make my life better? So far Farage has definitely made things worse for me. Also the Andrew Tate association, how do I forgive that?
@PDRNHPUK He can be entertaining & because he's an entertainer some people may think he has their best interests at heart. They'll find out soon enough he hasn't & then they will still blame someone else because he was entertaining.
@thehonestletter I agree, but I find it difficult to believe. I volunteer with special needs adults who would love to work but no one will employ them, so they are on benefits. They are constantly facing evictions & would often have nothing for dinner if there weren't food banks.
@claire_adams694 Did you ask them what the stitch us is? Why did they say "This is an absolute stitch-up." Surely you wanted to know who is stitching who up? Farage had the job, he resigned to get the job back he already had. Exactly who stitched him up?
@ivanwilson92 Of course Farage is going to win. I could have told him he is popular in Clacton. 20 million people could have told him he would win in Clacton. He is just going to prove a man popular in Clacton 2 years ago is still popular there.
@CommonS98701168 I'm sorry you're so miserable & can't be happy for the people this'll benefit. It will in fact benefit you anyway. Every extra bus passenger means one fewer car clogging up the roads, so should speed up you commute. Have a good day, there is joy out there if you look for it.
@CllrLukeEvans@Nigel_Farage I am sure you know "CLACTON ALREADY HAD REFORM!" Can't you see what a waste of your time this is? You are taking 2 days out to help a man get a job, that he already had & he didn't need to resign from. You can't even be completely sure he's going to win.
