@jesserandolph_ Then why did He have to keep the law perfectly? If you hold that Jesus was the initiator of the New Covenant, you have to, by your hermeneutics, hold that Adam failed to do his part. Federal Headship. Come in, the water is covenantal :)
@dgh5391@j_brad_83 When I read that the reformed covenant theologians look at scripture as law/gospel distinctions and Christ as the center of all scripture, it was like seeing scripture anew, as though a veil had been removed. Former dispensationalist. Christ is the temple!
Some pastors complete their theological education and assume they have learned all that they need to know.
Others understand that their formal training had only given them tools for a lifetime of learning.
In time, it becomes apparent who kept learning and who didn’t.
