tweeting my blog again so I can pin to profile. Was finally able to update my Medium tag to my actual last name instead of Truedough.

@MikeBartner It’s tough because it seems like some times the league makes decisions and will try to figure out later instead of having a plan. I don’t know how they didn’t have a draft order long term plan for this upcoming season once they announced expansion.
As someone who wants the PWHL to succeed long term, there are so many questionable decisions being made at the moment. The league hasn’t released the draft order yet and the expansion process was messy and inconsistent.
The players for wanting more money or leaving to go somewhere else. I just think it’s crazy how few players were protected throughout the the two first expansions. Just a sort of sour taste as a STH.
My biggest gripe with the #PWHL so far has been the expansion process. Two seasons in a row teams have lost first round picks and stars because the league wanted to expand. I understand expansion is part of the process but it’s incredibly tough to see players shuffled around.
Charge fans have lost Maschmeyer, Jenner, Bell, Clark, Guilday, Serdachny (who I wish was given a chance to grow with the team). It’s just tough when the scouting department makes a first round pick like Guilday and is already on her way out. And I definitely don’t blame
@ChrisSinclairrr Yep you’re right lol. I wish draft picks from the previous year were automatically protected. Was one of my biggest gripes of the past two expansions. I need Ottawa to make a splash in free agency.
BREAKING:
Toss out the 10-player "Negotiation List."
According to a communication sent by the PWHLPA to players, and contradictory to the PWHL's expansion manual, all players on expiring contracts are now free to negotiate with all teams today.

I don’t care if you’re buying fake jerseys for personal use but the number of people selling fakes on Ebay, Marketplace and even Flea markets is absurd and so scummy
