Yes, you read that right.

Police say they planned it, disabled his truck so he couldn't leave, beat him with rocks, bragged about leaving him for de*d... and bond was set at $12,500.

His name is Yordanis Herrera.

On June 11th, he was at the Sanibel Boat Ramp with his wife.

According to the arrest affidavits, three men pulled into that parking lot in a white BMW and a black Ram pickup.

They found his Ford F-150.

Police say they slashed the tires so the truck wasn't going anywhere.

Then they hid in the bushes around the lot and waited for him to come back.

When he did, investigators say all three came out of the bushes holding ROCKS and surrounded him.

He tried to run.

Police say Hansel Pompa Mauri tackled him from behind, forced him to the ground, and held him there.

Then, according to the affidavit, Dayan Estrada De Armas and Roberto Antonio Estrada De Armas beat him with the rocks OVER AND OVER in the face.

By the time it was all over, he had deep lacerations and hematomas to his head and face.

Police say one of them was RECORDING IT while it happened.

Police say Pompa Mauri stomped on his phone and destroyed it.

Then all three left.

A witness told police she saw the white car heading north on Causeway Boulevard... right past Yordanis's wife, who was still on the beach.

And someone inside yelled: "We left him there de*d."

IT GETS WORSE.

Nothing happened for almost THREE MONTHS.

All three are charged with conspiracy and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

Bond for the two men accused of swinging the rocks? Just $12,500 each.

Bond for the man accused of tackling the victim and holding him down while it happened? $13,500.

A total of 10 men have been jailed for a combined 130 years after setting fire to a home in a ‘revenge attack’ that severely injured a woman and a teenage girl. Police confirmed that the mother had been struck on the head and set on fire; she suffered 65% burns, a broken pelvis, broken ribs, and a cut to her liver. She spent two months in a coma and was not expected to survive, but she is now walking again and is predicted to need medical treatment for life. Sgt. Chris Fisher of the Warm Springs, Georgia Police Department was shot and killed in his patrol car on Sept. 1.

Five days earlier, he had arrested the man accused of killing him.

Aug. 27: Fisher stops Jimmy Lee Steverson at a gas station, and it turns into a fight. Police say they found marijuana and three AR-style rifles.

Steverson is charged with felony possession, having a gun during a crime, and obstruction.

Aug. 28: He's out on a $10,000 bond.

Sept. 1: Fisher is shot dead while sitting in his patrol car.

Sept. 2: Deputies in South Carolina stop a car Steverson is riding in and find he has shot himself. He dies at the hospital.

Felony gun charges and a fight with an officer, and he was back on the street in less than a day.

Five days later, a police officer was dead.

Sgt. Fisher joined the department in May and was promoted in July. He was 36.

In 2008, 18-year-old Queena Phu drove to a Florida library after dark to return a book.

She was on the phone with a friend. Then the screaming started. The call cut off.

16-year-old Kendrick Morris dragged her behind the building, raped her, and beat her until her brain was so damaged she would never see, walk, or speak again. He left her in the dirt like she was already dead.

When police ran the DNA, they found he had already raped a 62-year-old daycare worker at knifepoint months earlier.

In 2011 he was convicted of both attacks and sentenced to 65 years. Because he was a juvenile, the Supreme Court later gave him a second chance in court.

The judge looked at what he did to Queena — and gave him three consecutive life sentences instead.
