Just saw Together (2025) - pretty good! If you liked The Substance, you’ll probably dig this. I’m a sucker for brief comedic beats in horror, and this one nails it.
Can you recommend any other movies like this one?

After ep 4 of #AlienEarth I’m a bit worried. (Light spoilers) Making a chestburster feel pet-like “you can pat” kind of defangs the horror value. Xenomorphs work because they’re unreadable and instinct-driven. Does cutesifying them break that? What do you think?

@delaigrodela I hate sFX part tbh, but if I have to I work with Audacity and then adjust things in UE cues. But as far as I can I try to use ready to go assets from FAB or other open license sources.

I struggle with being focused but I have a solution: 90 minutes with pen and paper, every week. I write goal for: 5 years, 1 year, quarter, month and week. For week I prepare 3 tasks that moves me closer to the end goal. I write only the critical ones.

... but I think it's not revolutionary. It has some neat twists, it's kinda slow-burnish, camera work is good, and acting rules (this one is really good!), but it doesn't hit like "It Follows" or "Us" (especially comparing the grotesque scenes).

I heard a lot that Hereditary (2018) is the best #horror movie. Yesterday I watched it again to understand why people think that. My theory is if you watch slashers mostly and then see this, it looks like the genre revolution. And don't get me wrong, it's a good movie... (1/2)

@ciachopl @mat_soj Faktycznie z rynku będzie zawsze drożej bo wlicza się koszt pracownika, eksploatacji maszyny, czas przygotowania projektu itd. A z drugiej strony jak my mamy duże pole robocze i mieścimy na płytę wiele figurek to za sztukę potrafi wyjść 10 zł.

#PS4 gamers #help! I wonder if I should play @DeathStranding_ if I play only a few hours per week (because of lack of time). I hear that this game is really slow at the beginning. Can it be fun for me?
