@ThePrimeagen has convinced me to learn to type correctly. Time to hang up the ☝️ two pointer finger ☝️ guns and get the whole peanut gallery involved! 🖐️
@NEACETWEETS@nickich@LSXYZ9 It’s cool you concede that, but I could never hold it against you. Watching you rise to such crazy levels on lol YouTube was fun. Your coaching videos helped me pull off some killer plays and your numerous wisdom mic drops mid-coach-session are fond memories.
@Shredder8267@verseJohn316 I don’t form anyone’s opinions. If my opinion causes someone to make a decision, that’s not my fault, I don’t take credit for someone’s decision.
I’m glad you enjoy the game. I enjoyed the end of season 1.
I don’t make the game lesser by sharing my experience of it.
Dooming a game you don’t like is natural. A community that doesn’t like T8’s direction should complain.
I wouldn’t recommend my friends play this game, but that’s because I want good things for them. Not because I think want to steer them away from a game they enjoy, but because the game isn’t worth my recommendation or my controlled silent apathy.
@ThePrimeagen That’s pretty great! Highlighting relevant sections of your code base and giving options to act on your request seems like a plans mode I’d actually enjoy.
It’s not totally crazy. You are upset that people are hung up on their preferred ending. You are upset that others aren’t hung up on your preferred ending.
I agree being mean or casting away your thoughts on the best choice for E33 to come to a close should be respected.
Both choices are valid. I may be acting like the very people you are calling out. It’s not my goal to belittle or anger you.
I am interested in your view on the game. I haven’t 100% it yet, I will make a 2nd play through to see if there’s more context I missed on my first time around.
Is it truly impossible to see a better moral decision in the game?
If there is a true morality then surely there is one 1% better right? If morality is mostly subjective we probably dont need to have a deeper discussion on it.
The game is very well done and I think Maelle is justified in her final decision.
The depths of Maelle’s attachment to the canvas and its people is largely and unfortunately one that you have to imagine and not fully explored on screen.
To live a whole childhood to young adulthood is so incredibly intense to ask that your burn it to the ground because it’s “best” isn’t a fulfilling answer to her lived experience.
I think Verso’s option is best. I want to see Maelle bring more life and more paintings into the world. I hope the family can be restored after they overcome their intense grief.
