Funny enough he wore 4 in the USNDP but 4 was taken by Ellis in Nashville and 4 was taken in Columbus by Kevin Connauton!

@343Postums When I did it I’d use an electric Norelco. If I missed a few days then I’d use a Gillette multi-blade.
Electric was fast but multi-blade was noticeably closer.

@NHLNewNumbers Digging up this old thread but apparently Dougie wore 27 earlier in his career to honor Scott Niedermayer. He only switched to 19 because Faulk had 27 and 7 was taken too.
