@True_Dawg It happened once over 15 years ago. Jackson demanded a trade in 2023.
It isn't like the Bengals let Chase or Higgins walk. I think if the Palmer thing never happened this isn't a thought that even enters people's mind. The idea that any franchise QB will demand out of CIN.
You only ever really see this for Burrow which is dumb and lazy
Jackson has literally asked out of BAL before and hasn't signed a new deal.
Allen hasn't made it to a SB with BUF, why wouldn't he want out?
You'll never see these takes for them. They won't happen either but...
The all-in Rams can legally offer this trade in 2028, if Matthew Stafford retires once his extension ends:
LA receives: Joe Burrow
Bengals receive: Ty Simpson, 2028 1st, 2029 1st, 2030 1st
Cincinnati would also save $32.5 million against the cap, if Burrow asks out in 2028.
@Grinny_8 Not always. It has been negotiated to this point. The Bengals can try and dig their feet, but it is pretty useless when the rest of the NFL has gone along with it.
I would love one offseason without some sort of contract drama.
I guess that is a vast majority of teams, but the Bengals always have such avoidable ones.
The 8 second-rounders drafted ahead of Cashius Howell received fully guaranteed deals.
So did the six selected after him who have already signed.
Why haven't the #Bengals signed Howell yet?

Nothing against the bottom 2 who deserve their spots as well, but the top 3 were generational talents.
Geno Atkins literally changed how the position is viewed.
Former #Bengals players eligible for the Ring of Honor for the first time in 2026:
๐ซ A.J. Green
๐ซ Geno Atkins
๐ซ Andrew Whitworth
๐ซ Leon Hall
๐ซ Carlos Dunlap
Who should make it in first? ๐ค
1 thing I learned about a lot Chargers fans is they really care about a QBs H2H record with other QBs.
Even when the Bengals were beating the Chiefs, it was never Burrow over Mahomes. It was Burrow was the only QB beating Mahomes consistently.
It makes no sense.
@1Jose_0@TrolliethaPolie And the Patriots played against 3 teams that ended over .500 (counting the Bills twice).
Patriots were viewed as having the cushiest road to the Super Bowl ever
@TrolliethaPolie@1Jose_0 I am not saying they would have averaged it, but how many turnovers do you need?
You can say it matters more, but he didn't need 4 to be in a position where a late one helps end it. Does that make sense?
@TrolliethaPolie@1Jose_0 To be fair, the others sound that way. I love when Ravens fans bring it up as if they have squandered God teams over Jackson's time.
@TrolliethaPolie@1Jose_0 It is an advantage. I am glad my team has good players. A lot of good players play with other good players.
Often times that doesn't discredit a good player from being a good player. Unless you are a fan of Herbert. Then no other good player can play with good player
