The most original ideas always look wrong before they look right.

That's not a bug in the system, that's how the system filters out the weak hands.

When everyone agrees with you upfront, you're probably just restating consensus.

Real alpha lives in the uncomfortable zone where people call you a fool, a shill, or worse.

Getting banned from a forum for your thesis isn't embarrassing.

It's actually a signal worth paying attention to.

Because the crowd that's loudest against you is usually the crowd that hasn't done the work.

They pattern-match fast: unfamiliar name, foreign-sounding ticker, different from what they know...

And they call it a scam before they've read a single filing.

I've seen this play out in my career more times than I can count.

The people who got labeled "too optimistic" or "naive" or "not a team player" for backing something early were usually just early.

The key is being able to separate "this is wrong" from "this is unpopular."

Those are two completely different things that look identical in the moment.

Hold the conviction. Keep showing your work.

Let the thesis breathe long enough for the facts to catch up to the idea.
