At this point, I have tried speaking with anyone I can. @Truist is refusing to assist me in what I can only assume is punishment for closing my account with them. Anyone who currently banks with this company, do yourself a favor: find a credit union.

Earlier this month, I went into a @Truist branch to close my account. The teller there withdrew the funds and said I could finish the process later from my app, as soon as the last pending transaction finished. That transaction cleared for more than noted.

The account overdrafted, and I was charged a $36 fee for a $3 overdraft. The team told me that, due to a “courtesy” refund in October (which was actually a fraud refund), they could do nothing. And then refused to help further.
