@KathrynProciv A rare occurrence! Here are a few photos I took during the 2010 outbreak while we were chasing those storms. Damage from 1 of the 4 tornadoes near the @NWSFlagstaff office in Bellemont. 11 tornadoes were confirmed around N. AZ that day.

@MarcBeasley Two great dudes!

@tjmcaulay I was thinking the same thing when I saw the clocks winding down last night. It was top-of-mind because I came across this post on my timeline not even an hour before!

Senator Kyl was instrumental in helping Payson during the town’s decades-long efforts to secure its forever water supply. He sponsored the Arizona Water Settlements Act of 2004, authorizing the transfer of water rights amounting to 3,000 acre-feet of water annually to Payson and an additional 500 AF to other Rim Country communities, enabling the CC Cragin pipeline project to become a reality.

My father enjoyed working with him over the years on this, and the town will be forever grateful. RIP.
