TROPICAL UPDATE: There is a weak disturbance in the SW Gulf that the NHC is watching. They are only giving it a 10% chance of forming before it moves into central Mexico this weekend. This poses NO THREAT to Mississippi.
The heat and humidity will continue to build over the next few days. Highs will top out into the low to mid 90s, but the Heat Index will make it Feel Like 100-104°.
BEACH FORECAST🏖️: Rip Current Risk will be HIGH this weekend along the Gulf Coast. Multiple beaches are flying RED🚩 and DOUBLE RED🚩🚩 Flags due to the DANGEROUD SURF. Double Red means that the Water is Closed.
Blue is a rare color to see on a temperature map for Mississippi during the month of June. Temperatures will remain below normal tomorrow as highs only warm up into the low 80!!!
