DAY 802 AS A VOLUNTEER 🇺🇦🇩🇰🇺🇦
Today was my 802nd day as a full time #volunteer for #Ukraine. Who would have thought, it would come this far?

I spend the day helping our friends @PetrMazepa unload a whole semi-truck of #Humanitarian aid from Germany at their warehouse in #Kyiv

During a delivery in #Donbas with @1team1fight_org, we met a drone pilot who used to work in #Denmark 🇩🇰

He worked at a farm in the historical city of #Ribe - the oldest viking town in Denmark (est. around year 700).

We had a nice chat and before we left, he shook my hand firmly and thanked me for my countries support to #Ukrainians - even before the invasion.

Before the invasion in 2022 - 97% of workers in Danish stables were #Ukrainians. Our government made a special programme (Fodermester Ordningen), to ensure easy immigration, proper education, good working conditions and a fair salary, for the many Ukrainians working at the danish farms. To attract workers, the salary is quite attractive for Ukrainians (starting salary 4000€ gross).

The drone pilot told me: "I made my first capital in Denmark. I bought my first car for that money. Your country helped me get a good start in life." And just for a few seconds, I felt very proud to be #Danish 🇩🇰

@Ezra_D_SuperDog She is so wonderful, yesterday she got sterilised and when she woke up I went to talk to her again, she was still very drowsy and almost unable to walk because of anastasia, but she still came right away to get some love 💙💛
