Great to see such a healthy network weight: 20,597,829
This is what keeps the network healthy and resistant to 51% attacks. It also helps keep the average block time parked at 32 seconds, right where it should be.
We just signed an agreement with @Quantstamp to audit our blockchain.
Due to the rise of security incidents in the industry, we want to be proactive.
We also want to make sure Qtum is well positioned to onboard USDC and a privacy solution.
6 years ago we published a whitepaper about privacy on Qtum.
You can still read it here:
https://t.co/Dh5xXXzXRZ
"We propose an efficient privacy protocol using zk-SNARKs based on smart contracts. It helps to make several decentralized applications, like digital assets, stable coins, and payments, confidential."
At that time, we were warned by multiple exchanges that we'd be delisted if we went through with this, so development was halted. It seems like that narrative has shifted since 2020.
While the paper is a bit dated, the fact remains that Qtum is well positioned to implement Phantom tech to our UTXO+EVM layer1 stack. We've decided to begin work on an updated version of this whitepaper.
With $USDC coming to Qtum in the next few weeks, it makes sense to revisit privacy. We believe it's important to have this as a foundational layer on which we can attempt to build out a better ecosystem on Qtum.
To prepare for this, we've signed on with a security partner to get Qtum Core audited in October. Once that is complete, we'll begin work on a privacy solution.
We'll keep everyone updated on our progress.
Laya Decision Model vs Human.
We used Fable 5.1 on https://t.co/bSyv5SnLxv to build a very simple snake game. You eat the apple and you get bigger. If you hit the wall or your own tail, you lose. Once the clock runs out, or a player dies, the score is tallied.
Laya won 11 times in a row until we gave up.
You can access Laya for 2.1 cents / 1 million input tokens on the Qtum AI Router. Output is free.
Lyrics were made with GPT 5.6, music by Seedance 2.5
We have added Laya to the "Decision" panel on https://t.co/eLLkYU17Fq as an alternative to Jev.
Laya comes in 3 formats:
Laya, Multilingual Decision, or Laya Typed Decisions.
Price is 2.1 cents per 1 million inputs, output is free.
You can see the Laya github repo here:
https://t.co/KeLvmKFSdT
This was built to be similar to Jev, you can see on the chart below that Laya claims to make better decisions than Jev on choices like:
Moderation
E-mail Spam
Phishing
Model Routing
Tech Support Triage
We are hosting this on our own hardware. The image used in this post is pulled directly from the Laya github repo.
We have added an alternative to Jev called "Laya" on https://t.co/XXNDYDpJL4
$0.021 for 1 million input credits, output free.
We also added a new "Decision" panel.

This is self-hosted with our own hardware.
There's no catch here.
No minimum purchase
No "account credit requirement"
No maximum usage limits
No rate limiting.
Log in with MetaMask and pay only for what you use with Qtum.
We'll have Qtum bridged $USDC online here soon, developers began the mainnet rollout this week.
Thanks to everyone who helped with the testnet transactions.
The moment this is online we'll enable USDC payments on https://t.co/eLLkYU0zPS and then start work on the DEX with a partner.
We've lowered the price of Qwen 3.8 27b on the Qtum API Router
$0.02 Input / 1m
$0.24 Output / 1m
Compare with $0.15 in / $2.00 out on other providers.
262k Context / 128k Max Out / FP16 Precision / Vision Enabled
Usage is paid with Qtum.
No minimum purchase.
No need to sign up or register.
No need to carry a balance to access this price.
This is being hosted at our facility with our own hardware.
We're not training anything with your data.
We may implement usage caps (or bans) if we start getting resold.
Here's Qwen 3.8 27b in action using the DeepSeek harness. This is self-hosted from our facility.
55-65 tokens per second. Text go woosh.
This is FP16 precision 262k context vision enabled.
We will be adding more open weight models soon, next up will be Qwen 3.8 Flash Next hosted on our own hardware.
We're using a few hundred RTX 4090D 48gb cards to make this work.
The price for this model is $1.18 per 1m tokens output. We will likely add 2 more models over the next couple weeks.
We added Qwen 3.8 27b to the Qtum AI Router
$0.30 / 1m tokens in | $1.18 / 1m tokens out
262k Context, vision enabled. 55 token/s. FP16 quant.
This model sees about 260 billion tokens / week on OpenRouter served for $2.00 per 1m tokens out.
Qwen 3.8 27b is now available on the Qtum Router.
$1.18 / 1m tokens out.
FP16 Quant, 262k Context, Vision Enabled. 55 tokens per second.
This is hosted at our facility on our own GPU's.
Heads up! @deepseek_ai just released an open weights version of DeepSeekV4Flash-Vision
Slightly better results on benchmarks. Local models edging closer to Frontier models each week.

The Qtum AI Video Studio now supports:
All Seedance Models
All HappyHorse models
Alibaba WAN 3.0
Sora 2 Azure
MiniMax H3
Choose your model, length of video, resolution and aspect ratio. Then enter your prompt and generate, that's it, that's the end of the tweet/post.
