JMPD officers arrest two suspects after discovering hijacked vehicle and suspected human organs in Soweto:

Two men have been arrested in Naledi, Soweto, after the Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) Tactical Response Unit uncovered a hijacked National Department of Health VW Caddy being stripped at a house during a crime prevention operation on Thursday night.

While searching the property, officers also found two buckets allegedly containing human organs, believed to be hearts and lungs.

The suspects were arrested and detained at Naledi SAPS on charges of possession of a hijacked vehicle and possession of human organs.

Police are investigating the origin of the organs and are searching for the homeowner.

Regarding the speed case and criminal charges against the City Manager of Ekurhuleni Kagiso Lerutle, the @SAPoliceService and PKTT must go exhume the body of the sister of the female who died during the accident involving Lerutle & do a proper forensic.

The sister allegedly died from COVID, but i have it ON GOOD AUTHORITY that the sister ALLEGEDLY died of POISON because she was aggressively pushing this case to be heard and demanding justice for the deceased loved one.

Former Ekurhuleni City Manager Imogen Mashazi has been asked to present herself to law enforcement authorities.

Law enforcement officials are conducting a search and seizure operation at the residence of one of the individuals being sought.

In total, it's believed there were 4 active J50s.

Individuals appeared before the Madlanga Commission.

The commission heard that in 2023, IPID formally submitted an investigative report to the City of Ekurhuleni, which recommended stringent disciplinary measures against suspended EMPD Deputy Chief Julius Mkhwanazi due to allegations of fraud and corruption.

However, rather than implementing these recommendations, it was alleged city officials advanced Mkhwanazi's promotion.
