We are not entering the workforce, despite your "Make America Healthy Again". Why? Because we are vastly underpaid compared to our allied collegues

@ABC Those talking smack probably have never had to apply for SNAP benefits before. Trust me, its not something that I was proud of when I had to go on them. I had just been laid off, unemployment hadn't kicked in yet and I had an apple and ketchup in my fridge. SNAP got me through
@DenisonBarbs@StephenKing Exactly. I said in the 2016 election that Trump could kill a basket if puppies and kitten and his numb nut supporters would just cry out that they deserve it because they were illegal
@CBSNews Everybody just stop the whining! Meanwhile, those of us in healthcare never got a break during COVID. We reported to work everyday with the risk of illness and witnessed death daily. You know why? Because we were doing OUR EFFING JOBS!
I am a Registered Dietitian not to be acknowledged by some surgeon or general physician. I do what I do because I love it. I love seeing a patient who is malnourished grow hair back. I love seeing patients get strong I know nutrition has something to do with that. #Dietitian
2 of 3. I give advice on what to eat to heal, when asked. Although I'm not a trained counselor, I counsel. I do whatever it takes to make sure my patient eats what they like( within availability) so they can go home.
Rarely am I acknowledged by medical for what I do.
1 of 2 I'm a Dietitian. My job is never mentioned in a medical drama. It's not sexy enough. I don't supposedly save lives. But what I do is support the patient after surgery to heal. I make sure they eat. If they don't want to eat, I find out why. I listen.

So I just used a swooping motion instead. Surveyor just looked at me like I was insane. DON just whispered to me "you're not helping"
Needless to say I looked like a freaking idiot in front of the DOH
All thanks to Lyrica

I took Lyrica for years. Stopped because I hated that I could find my words when on it. I still suffer from that side effect.
Yesterday the DOH was in my LTC and asked me what E stood for in RACE. I said evacuate and ...couldnt find the word for fire extinguisher.
Lyrica is the devil. One side effect is you can't get your words out. It's marketed to treat Fibro. majority of people who suffer from fibro are women I'm convinced the devil gave it to some guy who really wanted his wife to shut the hell up. #lyrica#relationships#comedy
@JeffMauro in March, can you do a segment on St Joseph's Day for The Kitchen? It's such an important holiday for Sicilian Americans. I'll even give you my family's St Joseph's Day bread recipe π

I was having a dream with The Pixies, Here comes your Man playing in the background. Them my cat head butted me to wake up. He is a male ginger, named Tony. Serendipity or prophecy? What ever it's is, I'll take it. #cats
@GovKathyHochul thank you for the investigation of nursing home deaths during Covid. One thing I would like you to consider is the nursing home deaths that can be attributed to loneliness brought on by the pandemic lockdown. Our Elderly died from government restrictions
