As a little update; I had two teens drive into the back of me on an electric scooter at the end of march, and the pain has come in waves, two weeks ago i was in hospital getting chest scans for it that came back okay, then this week i’ve been in agony again so have now got scans
For my neck and head booked for the 29th.
I’m okay but just in a lot of pain, currently wearing a neck brace and having to sleep at a 90 degree angle (which gives you wild dreams especially on meds)
The scenes from the march were absolutely disgusting.
Watching women dress up and mock muslim women was sickening to see.
The silence from Kier Starmer is unsurprising at this point.
Anti-Islam hate has been on the rise for a while in the UK, we must stand against it.
Harriman told the Guardian: “We have reached the point where truth itself is being crushed by the very institutions that are supposed to uphold it"

Right-wing newspapers are trying to run a smear campaign against @misanharriman. We can't let them.

Gender Equality Campaigner Patsy Stevenson says she has never been invited by the Metropolitan Police to help with education or cultural change, despite her campaigning work.

.@skysarahjane: "When will women be safe?"
"Not in my lifetime", replies 33-year-old gender equality campaigner @PatsyeStevenson, five years on from the murder of Sarah Everard by a Metropolitan Police officer.

My thoughts today are with Sarah Everard’s family and those impacted by her murder five years ago.
Killed by a serving Met officer, her death exposed the scale of violence against women and girls.
We push for higher standards but women still don’t feel safe.
That must change.
"I believe in abolishing the police."
@PatsyeStevenson says the Met's misogyny problems go beyond institutional, and it would be better to invest in community alternatives to keep women safe.

There is a vigil for Sarah Everard tomorrow in Clapham for the fifth anniversary.
I will not be in attendance and will be honouring Sarah in my own way.
Let’s remember all women tomorrow, who have died at the hands of men, and all people who have been subject to police violence.
