She can run, but she cannot hide.
Her legal team has produced what Justice Madlanga rightly called a “useless so-called sick note.”

BREAKING NEWS: ‘CAT’ MATLALA WITHDRAWS FROM PLEA AGREEMENT
Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala has withdrawn from his plea and sentence agreement with the State in the R228 million SAPS Medicare24 tender fraud case.
The dramatic development follows the court’s rejection of the proposed effective eight-year prison sentence as too lenient. Magistrate Ignatius du Preez had indicated that an effective 12-year sentence would be more appropriate.
The commission has been provided with a medical certificate.
Adv Andrea Johnson has been admitted to hospital.
The chair says the certificate is another “useless” one. It gives no details.
Her testimony has been postponed to a date to be determined.
