Couldn’t ask for a better way to start the week than going out on @unetweets Ram Island to identify rocky intertidal organisms for the first day of MAR 105: Intro to Marine Ecology & Evolution!
Proud of my students for presenting their results from @unetweets Summer Undergraduate Research Experience. They both did so much more than they could present in 7 minutes!
We're so excited to share that our new website is live! Check it out at https://t.co/vRqvAavRse!
We are still in the process of transferring our membership platform. As a result, we are unable to enroll new members at this time. We are working to get this up and running ASAP!
@harveyplankton @unetweets Yes, we have been getting them pretty consistently! Not in record numbers but they’re there. More of Tripos furca (30,000 cells/L this week) but some muelleri too.
Last week of sampling for the summer undergraduate students @unetweets! Very proud of my two students that helped me get my lab off the ground, I couldn’t have done it without them!
We may not have placed 1st but we were #1 in spirit! UNE plankton lab had fun participating in the UNE Marine Science Center Olympics featuring a survival suit tournament, crab toss, blind pipetting, pin the tail on the lobster, and more.
