@DelargeExtra@MyrtlesGirdles@JobsNowPaper@AquitaineH43797 Nope, thatโs not it. Itโs hard finding a Black American doctor. Luckily being in the southeast theyโre here, but looking a pictures of new doctors, they are few and far between.
@JackPosobiec Black American here. African ancestors since 1630s Virginia in my momโs side and 1720s Charleston on my dadโs side. European ancestors were in the 1600s. Native ancestors since BC lol ๐
@wil_da_beast630 Youโre right. The early church fathers talked about people who were ethnically separated come together now that they are in Christ, Anyone advocating racism and separation in the church is sinning, dividing the body, and will not inherit the kingdom!
@Mohkujin@JosephGodbold@CoreyWriting African phenotypes are diverse. But we are distantly related, our phenotype is different because we are a combination of numerous African ethnicities and other admix while Africans have localized DNA. Also Africans look like dark skin people in the Indian Ocean, but unrelated
@Mohkujin@JosephGodbold@CoreyWriting Absolutely! Dozens of distinct African ethnicities were bought to the US. Black Americans African ancestry is very diverse and alone forms a new ethnicity. Then you have the infusion of Europeans and Natives into the mix of forming a new people that didnโt exist previously.
@_realitychec His grandmother isnโt biracial. Sheโs multigenerational mixed. Her roots go back to Dinwiddie County VA. She may have Saponi Native ancestry though.
@amerikkkan12@bramsmdn No, Black Americans as an ethnicity were formed here in America. Where on the African continent is the ethnic group that an admix of dozens of African ethnicities, various European nationalities (mainly British Isles), and southeastern US Native tribes?
@John40800892352@GluckGlucky Heโs not 75%, probably 60% or 65%. Heโs Black American ethnically. As an American, I love when all Americans of any race or ethnicity does good.
@mmoussa_s@JosephGodbold@CoreyWriting African roots isnโt the discussion here. Itโs about ethnicity. I canโt speak for other Black Americans, but Iโm proud of and acknowledge my African ancestry from West, Central, and SE Africa.
@mmoussa_s@JosephGodbold@CoreyWriting Actually it was very big on X some months ago. In fact, if you go back to Teddy Roosevelt time frame, White Americans were beginning to view themselves as distinct from Europeans. And it makes sense as White Americans are admixed intra-racially like Black Americans.
