A few years ago I met an older pastor for lunch. As we were about to enter the restaurant, he said, "Let's go Dutch." To keep from looking like a fool, I acted like I knew what the expression meant. Would you know what "going Dutch" would mean? Have you ever heard of that?
Before I go to bed, I’ll leave u with this. 3 years ago we chased a stolen girl to another country and rescued her from a brothel. When we did we rescued all these babies with her in one day. We have taken care of them every since and will keep the rescued. That’s all good nite.
PRAYER REQUEST 🙏
My son Owen has been sick basically all summer. The pediatrician did blood work to check and see why and it came back with some concerning results and they want to run more tests. Please pray for healing for Owen and wisdom for us on next steps to take. 🙏🙏🙏
40 years ago today, Lisa and I began an amazing journey as man and wife. My dad did the wedding. I was in seminary 10 days later. Thinking back over the family, friends, colleagues, and ministry opportunities God has granted us, I am humbled and in awe.
One more to leave you with for the day. This is the exact moment we rescued a child in Colombia from Prostitution. Leanna took off her shoes and gave them to this 13 year old to replace her 3 inch heels and declare a new walk in #Jesus!. She's safe now. Good night my friends.
My mother in law has been an atheist as long as I’ve known her. Today, she came forward and placed her trust in Jesus for salvation.
I’ve been praying for her since 2004.
Don’t give up on seeing others saved!!
Amen. Many years ago in my youth no one killed their babies. Many virtual strangers got married for the sake of the baby. Many of those turned into happy LONG marriages. They didn't go around talking about "baby daddies". They called them "my husband."
I went in to the doctor today for a sore throat and they decided to check on baby. They couldn’t find a heartbeat, I started to sob, so they did a second ultrasound on a better machine and confirmed that baby has died. About a week ago. We are devastated. God is near.
Happy BIRTHDAY To Me! This is Chapter 46, and I am grateful. Thank God for another year! I can’t wait to see what this year will bring. I speak many blessings, healing, abundance, and prosperity. If you would like to bless me my cash app is $Seanie77
May I ask some of you
for prayer? Melissa & I’ve been studying for months for our next project, outlining & preparing & it’s time to start the actual writing. I’ve finally gotten back to all my other work duties since my brother’s sudden death but this will be my return to writing.
Several of us who interact on here are going through a season of mourning & it’s helped me to hear you say you have also gone quiet. In my grief over the absence of this person who was such a huge part of my life, so funny & interesting, I’ve very literally experienced a loss for words. I bet I’ve said 50% less words for the last 5 months. Undoubtedly a blessing to many. Lol. I haven’t wanted to get on the phone or get in a long text dialogue or grab a meal with people outside my family because I can’t think of anything to say. Anybody get what I’m saying?
We’re excited about this project & sense strongly that it’s time to transition from preparation to writing. And, well, I’m scared.
I told a friend the other day that I’ve never been more convinced of the power of prayer. Truly. I believe, by God’s design, it makes all the difference. Certainly in writing. Would you be so kind to pray for us? This project is gargantuan. (An overview of sorts of the Old Testament classical prophets.) We’ve learned volumes and have much still to learn as we write. But the day has come to open a document and type the words Week One, Day One.
Pray for us? We will owe you a debt of love we’ll gladly pay.
