@BYUSportsNation A win over ND would do more to earn credibility for this year’s schedule than beating Who-tah, especially for those of us east of the Mississippi.
@BYUSportsNation Each yr BYU’s non con schedule needs to include one game with a school from another P4 conference or an independent like ND in order to provide comparisons for CFP committee…which will hopefully open the door to an at large invite.
Until then BYU has to win the Big 12.
@jaromjordan I was at the game and the Stadium announcer came over the speakers with a strong admonishment and a warning. He also warned them multiple times about throwing stuff on the field. Both were told the perpetrators would be identified and removed from the stadium. Lots of alcohol

@jaromjordan Watching the game in person helped me see where Bear could/should and will develop. À more experienced QB makes the reads that give BYU 2 maybe three more TDs. Also, JoJo is still rusty from his time away.
Both will be much better next year.
@jaromjordan I was at the game and Glasker was alone on the 30 yard line with nothing but an open field ahead of him. Bad decision by the stripes.
Easily a touchdown
@BYUSportsNation I’m hoping for a dominant defense and a confident offense. But I’m really hoping that special teams Kpops the Bearcats. That would go a long way to improving the perception of CFP committee.
@BYUSportsNation More than a game manager. Bear and the offense had to show-up to meet the criteria for the win. Offense matched the grit of the defense in that win.
@BYUSportsNation Regardless of where they’re ranked in the big 12 or national polls; be assured everyone will have an eye on the Stanford game. There is a respect for and wariness of BYU’s program in general and this year’s team specifically.
@BYUSportsNation For conference a Kansas team, an Arizona team, and a Texas team twice every year. I want to unhook our team from Utah going forward. There are better rivals in conference.
Non conference matchups I’d like to see.
- Gonzaga, Kentucky and Duke
@jaromjordan I’m for 5-11, with this twist.
Each team plays a regular season non conference game against an opponent from a power 4 conference in a round robin schedule.
For example BYU plays a team from B10 in year 1, then ACC in year 2, then SEC in year 3.
@Robinsonjaxx @CriddleBenjamin @CoachMarkPope How blessed are you to have the fans of BYU and UK embrace you even after your collegiate playing days are over. Go be great. We are watching you and rooting for you.
