Incense is mentioned over 100 times in the bible. Not a single mention of a smoke machine. These external things matter. Reverence and respect for our Lord matter. It’s mentioned in revelation 8:4 “And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.” Do you think that it doesn’t matter?
