RNLI Media Officer for the South East, promoting the amazing work of our crews and lifeguards.Mad keen cyclist, trombonist and old car nut. All views my own....
@Brick_Cop Hi Brick Cop - Paul Dunt here at the RNLI press office. Thank you for your kind offer - what did you have in mind? Were you thinking Lego?! My direct email is [email protected] if you’d like to contact me directly. All best wishes and thank you.
Our RNLI Lifeboat Press Officers really are amazing people. As well as doing an outstanding job as DLPO at Dungeness Lifeboat Station, Sarah Beck will also be spending the summer promoting the incredible lifesaving work being done by RNLI lifeguards across the South East. @RNLI
@RochfordDC Perhaps you should point out that none of the council’s images of the proposed developments on the Voyage Partnership website are to scale? Why won’t RDC release scale plans?
On International Women's Day I'd like to give a shout out for Rima Akter, one of hundreds of incredible Bangladeshi women working to combat a drowning epidemic which costs 40 children's lives in her country every day. Find out more at: https://t.co/1hXN1qqs8J
Our @RNLI Lifeboat Press Officers are just amazing. Kt and Martin Bruce have gone way beyond the call of duty to run an inspired project at @RNLIRyeHarbour to create a memorial to mark 90 years since the town’s lifeboat was lost with the loss of 17 lives.
@BBCPM If you want to know what makes BBC Radio 4 so wonderful just listen to the link into today’s 6pm news. Just sublime craft radio as Elgar segues beautifully into the gongs. Pure magic.
Afternoon, Londoners! 😎🍦☀️🔥 This weekend is set to be hotter than the inside of a Findus crispy pancake so if you want to cool off, please avoid the tidal Thames and check out @lidolondon to find out where to cool off 🌊💦😅 #respectthewater
Our @RNLI crews are tireless in their efforts to tackle drowning. Today volunteers from all four stations on the Thames told their stories to HRH the Duke of Cambridge at the launch of a new drowning prevention strategy for the river #SaferThames#respectthewater#RNLI
Well we made it! 3063 miles from St Augustine, Florida to San Diego, California. Thank you to everyone who has supported us and helped fundraise for the @RNLI Crèches for Bangladesh. There is still time to help at:

I’m currently cycling 3000 miles from St Augustine to San Diego to raise money for the @rnil Crèches for Bangladesh appeal. Follow the challenge on Instagram: duntpaul https://t.co/pdgwyFHVgL
Just met the incredible @BethFootForward at the @RNLI in Poole as she headed home for a Christmas break from her challenge to walk around the coast of Britain to raise money for the #RNLI and lowland rescue. Have a good rest Beth - you are doing a superb job #SavingLivesAtSea
...my rest days have been physical rest days but I’ve not switched off properly for even 1 day since I started 10 weeks ago. So I’m heading to family in Croydon and signing off for a while. Hope everyone has a lovely Christmas, however you spend it. Back soon 🙂
It’s officially Christmas! The tinsel is on the trombone! Tonight I will be with Rayleigh Brass entertaining the fine folk of the Benfleet Yacht Club. Ho ho ho!
@RNLI crews prepare for all types of emergency situations - including those on land. Tonight the volunteers @rnli_teddington have been testing their casualty care skills on two ‘injured’ crew members. It’s a vital way to prepare for the real thing.
